About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team at PLG Builders Ltd. as a Framer Helper. This is a temporary position with a 40-hour workweek, requiring the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, utilizing hand and power tools as needed.
  • Measure lumber to ensure specified thickness, length, and width, and communicate with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Be exposed to noisy and dusty environments, and handle heavy loads as required.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
