Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Management: Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Payment Processing: Handle various forms of payment including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
  • Item Scanning: Scan merchandise and ensure correct pricing.
  • Sales Calculation: Tabulate total payments for goods or services rendered.
  • Payment Reception: Receive and process payments for purchases.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Calculate daily or shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
  • Inventory Management: Stock shelves and maintain cleanliness in the counter area.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs.
  • Merchandise Handling: Wrap or bag items for customers.
  • Service Excellence: Provide outstanding customer service and support.
  • Security Monitoring: Monitor entrances and exits, ensuring proof of payment is requested when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Willingness to train; previous experience is an asset.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
