Refrigeration Technician

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Wilsons Gas Stops. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, testing, and performing maintenance on a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Install, troubleshoot, test, and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems, including heat pumps, de/humidification systems, ventilation systems, air circulation systems, and self-contained rooftop units.
- Work closely with the team to provide excellent customer service, from new installations to emergency on-call troubleshooting.
- Interpret blueprints with accuracy and exercise good judgement in solving problems.
- Balance meticulous attention to detail with efficient job practices and work professionally under pressure.
- Focus on customer experience and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Work both with a team and autonomously, and be dependable, diligent, and punctual.
- Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registered Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentice certification.
- Ozone Depletion Prevention Certificate.
- Occupational Health & Safety Certificate.
- WHMIS Certificate.
- First Aid certification.
- Working at heights training.
- Tools, safety gear, steel-toed boots, and safety glasses.
**Working Conditions:**
This job may be physically demanding and requires manual dexterity, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The selected candidate must be able to work on-call, possess a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract, and pass a criminal background check.
