Job Title: District Education Assistant

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated District Education Assistant to join our team at School District #72 (Campbell River). The successful candidate will provide support to students with diverse needs, working collaboratively with teachers and other education professionals to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with diverse needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Provide individualized support to students as needed
  • Collaborate with other education professionals to develop and implement student support plans
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
