We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Engineering Manager to oversee our engineering department. This position is pivotal in managing the daily operations of a skilled engineering team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the daily workflow of the engineering department, ensuring tasks are on schedule.
  • Evaluate the progress and quality of engineering tasks, providing constructive feedback.
  • Conduct recruitment and training of new engineering personnel in collaboration with senior management.

Core Duties:

  • Act as project manager for various initiatives, developing timelines and budget forecasts, and organizing meetings to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Draft specifications for development projects in partnership with subject matter experts.
  • Lead engineering functions, including quality assurance, testing, and research and development for new and existing products.
  • Facilitate clear communication between clients and engineering teams, ensuring all specifications and deadlines are understood.
  • Review projects for technical accuracy and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain administrative policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and manage the departmental budget.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance product lines and efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CAD software is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred, or a relevant technical diploma with significant experience.
  • A minimum of eight years of related experience is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Low voltage: 8 years (preferred)
  • Management: 4 years (preferred)
  • Electrical engineering: 8 years (preferred)

Compensation:

  • Annual salary range: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00
