Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Assistant I to join our team at Lawton Drugs. As a Pharmacy Assistant I, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions, receive and release prescription requests, and record deliveries.
  • Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and manage prescription data.
  • Understand and promote pharmacy programs, including prescription assembly and data entry.
  • Filing prescriptions, ordering, and replenishing supplies, and cleaning the dispensary area.
  • Assist the pharmacist with dispensary tasks as permitted by scope.

Requirements

  • Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
  • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.
