Position Overview:

As the Regional Facilities Management Leader, you will oversee the strategic planning, budgeting, and prioritization of facilities management across the region. This role is essential in ensuring the effective delivery of multidisciplinary maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all engineering and maintenance services.
  • Implement and oversee an operation and maintenance program (O&M).
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
  • Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for efficient operations.
  • Monitor energy consumption and promote sustainability initiatives.

Your team will consist of maintenance experts, facility managers, various tradespeople, and administrative personnel.

Qualifications:

  • A degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in mechanical, civil, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • Proven experience in planning and managing infrastructure programs.
  • Experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Strong background in human resources and financial management.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Project Management Specialist (PMS) accreditation or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
  • Experience with infrastructure projects in a governmental context.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in various environments, including confined spaces and construction sites.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
