Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated User Support Technician to join our team at FIBERCOMM COMMUNICATIONS LTD. This role requires a strong educational background and relevant experience to effectively assist our users.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years, ideally between 2 to 3 years, in a similar role or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Research and implement solutions by consulting user manuals, technical documents, and other resources.
  • Offer guidance and training to users facing challenges.
  • Oversee and mentor other technical support personnel within the team.
  • Deliver business systems, network, and Internet support to users as needed.
  • Prepare equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and necessary software.
  • Conduct backup and recovery operations for web servers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all users.
