We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to join our Security and Healthcare Technologies team in Burnaby. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with our customers, and driving sales growth.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales quotas and grow our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to ensure we remain competitive
  • Collaborate with our design, engineering, and service teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including retrofit projects and strategic partnerships
  • Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to customers and stakeholders
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and pipeline progress

Your experience and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with a strong background in the security industry
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
