About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our Water Resources Engineering Group in Edmonton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing various civil engineering projects, including water resources, hydrotechnical, and geotechnical projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, collaborating with engineers, scientists, and managers at all levels.
  • Provide technical direction and mentoring to junior and intermediate staff.
  • Develop and sustain positive business relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in proposal development and technical report writing.
  • Manage multiple project deadlines, budgets, and scope changes.
  • Offer innovative solutions to clients through business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Eligibility for immediate registration with APEGA as a Professional Engineer.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering design projects.
  • Experience with water management infrastructure design and construction.
  • Experience with tender preparation and construction administration.
  • Experience with hydraulic or hydrologic modeling assessments.
