We are seeking a highly skilled Food Processing Equipment Cleaner to join our team at Biscuits Leclerc Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our food processing equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and Sanitize Equipment: Clean and sanitize all food processing equipment, including machinery, utensils, and work surfaces, to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
- Maintain a Clean Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the removal of waste and debris, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
- Follow Safety Procedures: Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, and to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: Previous experience in a food processing environment is an asset.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a food and beverage plant.
- Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
