About the Role

Cascades is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Design Specialist to join our team as a Pre Press Specialist in our Specialty Product Group division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating all steps in the development of graphic projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all steps in the development of graphic projects, in accordance with production schedules.
  • Follow established procedures, manage priorities, and ensure the final product meets the highest quality standards.
  • Propose innovative ideas or cost-saving solutions to customers while identifying potential production delays.
  • Participate in R&D projects and printing tests.
  • Support teams in solving problems and provide necessary information for prepress billing.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Train team members on the proper use of computer graphics equipment.

Requirements

  • College diploma in graphic design or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the packaging field, in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in graphic software.
  • At least five years of experience with a workflow system.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and colleagues.
  • A constant concern for improving efficiency and quality of services.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while respecting deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to grasp client needs quickly and meet those needs.
  • Ability to support and advise clients and business partners in analyzing their needs and finding solutions.
  • Ability to proactively address issues and problems by proposing solutions.
  • Strict devotion to quality and attention to detail.
