OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, this role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated Talent Development Consultant to become part of a dynamic and high-performing team. The selected individual will play a key role in the design, development, implementation, and assessment of innovative educational programs. Collaborating with cross-functional talent stakeholders, this professional will execute L&D strategies that align with our organizational objectives, fostering a high-performance culture where employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and deliver impactful and engaging training initiatives utilizing diverse learning methodologies (e.g., instructor-led sessions, eLearning modules, job aids, virtual training, assessments, infographics, etc.).
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments to determine when learning interventions are necessary and develop compelling business cases for appropriate learning solutions based on thorough research.
  • Contribute to the overarching Learning and Development strategy by performing needs analysis surveys and prioritizing training requirements for personnel across all organizational roles.
  • Employ a coaching approach to collaborate with subject matter experts, including both internal and external stakeholders, to assist in content creation.
  • Utilize creative problem-solving and change management principles to develop innovative solutions to challenges.
  • Assist in the sourcing, implementation, and maintenance of a Learning Management System, along with other tools or platforms to support the execution of strategic objectives.
  • Build and maintain a robust interpersonal network within the organization, acting as a culture champion for the HR team.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Adult Education, Instructional Design, or a similar area is advantageous.
  • 2-5 years of experience in human resources, particularly in learning and development.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of adult learning principles and instructional methodologies.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to influence a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
