The Role: Mixologist - Fine Dining

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Mixologist to join our team. As a key member of the bar staff, you will be responsible for crafting exquisite cocktails and providing exceptional service to our discerning clientele.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a memorable guest experience through personalized interactions and adherence to our high standards of service.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our extensive wine, beer, and cocktail menus to offer insightful recommendations to guests.
  • Prepare beverages with precision and efficiency, ensuring each cocktail meets our exacting standards.
  • Present drinks professionally and clearly at the designated service area.
  • Communicate beverage descriptions, specials, and relevant information to both guests and team members.
  • Maintain a meticulously organized bar area, including the dishwasher and cappuccino machine.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels of all bar products, including mis en place.
  • Monitor beer keg and liquor inventory, promptly replenishing as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Be attentive to guest requests, including any dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a bartender or mixologist in a fine dining establishment.
  • Wines & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) certifications are highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wine, beer, and classic cocktails.
  • A genuine passion for food, beverage, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects such as beer kegs, liquor cases, and wine boxes.
