Are you skilled in warehouse oversight and team leadership? We are seeking a Warehouse Operations Team Leader to oversee our Gas Distribution division. This position entails the daily administration of warehouse functions, focusing on safety protocols, inventory management, and logistics coordination. You will be responsible for supervising both unionized and non-unionized warehouse personnel, along with temporary and contractor staff. This role is a practical leadership position, merging team management with hands-on contributions at various warehouse sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all employees and warehouse operations
  • Adhere to supply chain and warehouse operational guidelines
  • Establish and synchronize warehouse goals with client expectations
  • Guide, support, and inspire team members
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education with at least seven years of relevant experience
  • Proven leadership and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong analytical and communication proficiencies
  • Experience in the energy sector and supply chain management certification are advantageous
Work Environment:
  • Primarily based in a warehouse office, with occasional site visits
  • Utilization of personal protective equipment as required
  • Possible exposure to hazardous conditions necessitating additional safety precautions
  • Travel to suppliers and other company locations may be required
