Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizzaiolo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards of quality.
Supervise and Coordinate StaffLead and manage a team of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service and quality control.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Inventory ManagementEstimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
Quality ControlEnsure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Record KeepingMaintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
Requirements- Leadership and Management
Proven experience in supervising and leading a team, with a strong focus on leadership and management skills.
Operational ExpertiseExcellent knowledge of food preparation, service, and quality control procedures, with a strong understanding of operational systems and processes.
Communication and Interpersonal SkillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
Problem-Solving and AdaptabilityAbility to think critically and solve problems effectively, with a flexible approach to adapting to changing circumstances.
