Position Overview:

Keller Executive Search is on the lookout for a talented and seasoned Engineering Leadership Director with a robust background in the manufacturing sector. This pivotal role will involve steering the engineering division, spearheading project initiatives, and fostering innovation within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and mentor the engineering team, ensuring effective project delivery and team cohesion.
  • Formulate and execute engineering plans that resonate with the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams, including product development, design, and operational units, to facilitate successful product launches.
  • Administer the engineering department's budget and resources, ensuring efficiency and cost management.
  • Keep abreast of technological advancements and industry trends, pinpointing areas for enhancement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in a senior engineering role within the manufacturing domain.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling tools.
  • Proven track record in managing R&D projects across various disciplines, including Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Development.
  • Familiarity with drafting software, with a preference for AutoCAD experience.
  • Expertise in mechanical systems, automation, and software engineering.
  • Strong project management skills, with knowledge of Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies, utilizing tools such as Jira and MS Project.
  • Understanding of Vault, Content Center, and CAD to BOM processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Experience in a collaborative, cross-functional work environment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in both English and French is advantageous.
