WSP Canada is seeking an intermediate technician to enhance their building electrical division.

Reporting to the Electrical Director, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project teams with the following duties:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop design plans and specifications utilizing calculation tools and CAD software;
  • Ensure that plans and specifications adhere to relevant guidelines, codes, and regulations;
  • Provide assistance to project technicians and drafters as required;
  • Undertake additional tasks as necessary to facilitate project completion.

REQUIREMENTS
  • College diploma in electrical technology or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in building electrical design and CAD;
  • Strong initiative, independence, and meticulous attention to detail;
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
  • Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD software is advantageous;
  • Bilingualism is a plus.
