Intermediate Building Electrical Technician

WSP Canada is seeking an intermediate technician to enhance their building electrical division.
Reporting to the Electrical Director, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project teams with the following duties:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with engineers to develop design plans and specifications utilizing calculation tools and CAD software;
- Ensure that plans and specifications adhere to relevant guidelines, codes, and regulations;
- Provide assistance to project technicians and drafters as required;
- Undertake additional tasks as necessary to facilitate project completion.
REQUIREMENTS
- College diploma in electrical technology or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in building electrical design and CAD;
- Strong initiative, independence, and meticulous attention to detail;
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD software is advantageous;
- Bilingualism is a plus.
