Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Loyalty Revenue Growth and Vendor Management team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing relationships with CPG suppliers, driving strategic engagements, and delivering strong ROI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of supplier partners, owning day-to-day relationships and large strategic discussions on loyalty
  • Grow strategic relationships with suppliers, focusing on using loyalty to deliver strong ROI
  • Understand suppliers' strategic initiatives to proactively partner with them and develop loyalty promotional strategies that meet their goals
  • Recommend ways to improve return on loyalty investment and provide visibility to budget and performance metrics
  • Plan and execute digital loyalty offers for vendors, driving benefits for both Loblaw and suppliers
  • Manage contractual cycles with suppliers to grow investment in the right areas and meet yearly targets
  • Partner with internal category teams to grow vendor engagement in loyalty and increase the impact of loyalty on categories
  • Share performance of strategic loyalty programs to drive excitement and increase participation among suppliers
  • Provide data inputs into Joint Business Planning (JBP) reporting and make recommendations to improve overall success of joint business planning
Requirements
  • Skilled at developing relationships with clients to become a trusted and value-added business partner
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in negotiation of high-value contracts
  • Experience in Brand Marketing, Market Research, Category Management, and/or Shopper & Consumer Insights roles or experience as a service provider to these functions
  • Proven analytic skills: conceptualizing, analyzing, deriving insights from data, and designing an execution plan to action on the insights
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries
  • Experience as a power user of Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence software
