Manager, Cybersecurity Governance and Process Enhancement

As a key player in our organization, the Manager of Cybersecurity Governance and Process Enhancement will oversee the essential cybersecurity controls, methodologies, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with the standards upheld by our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive continuous improvement and adoption of the information security governance framework.
  • Manage the cybersecurity methodology and maintain the risk register.
  • Ensure the vitality of the governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Engage in the initial phases of projects to identify safety issues, facilitating compliance and effective risk management.
  • Conduct regular and proactive reporting to senior management while maintaining business KPIs.
  • Lead and coordinate initiatives related to process quality and efficiency, ensuring best practices and quality improvements across all IT domains.
  • Oversee the management of major incidents and issues.
  • Facilitate the Change Advisory Committee (CAB).
  • Develop and update documentation for policies, standards, procedures, and processes to support execution.
  • Collaborate across departments to evaluate and enhance the entire process lifecycle.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading process analysis and redesign initiatives utilizing Lean methodology.
  • Proven leadership experience in process analysis and redesign initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and present projects for management evaluation.
  • Exceptional communication skills to present complex processes in understandable terms to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Significant expertise in process improvement, business transformation, customer service, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and team building.
  • Experience with security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, COBIT) and relevant laws and standards (e.g., NIST, GDPR).
  • Lean certification and cybersecurity knowledge are advantageous.
