Job Summary:

Giant Tiger is seeking a Part-Time Cashier to join our team As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling customer transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Restock merchandise, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure a safe and secure store.
  • Follow health and safety policies, loss prevention best practices, and compliance with all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings, and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.

Keyholder Premium (If Applicable):

Opening and closing the store on an ad hoc basis, ensuring all areas are tidy, and responsible for security of the store including locking and setting alarm.
