Senior Accountant

Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant serves as an assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, providing financial expertise and support to the organization. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to achieve organizational goals.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide financial guidance and support to management, including financial modeling and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
- Supervise and train accounting staff, including interns and other accountants.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in accounting and finance, including experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software, including Excel and financial planning and analysis tools.
Language: Proficiency in both French and English is required for this role, both in written and oral communication.
