Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Rangeela Modern Indian Kitchen & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods, and washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
- Provide support for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees, and other diverse groups, by promoting awareness and inclusivity in the workplace.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train on the job.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Permanent work term.
- 30-40 hours per week.
- English language required.
