Pharmacist Professional

We are seeking a skilled Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies across Canada.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
- Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patient needs
- Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly and proactive manner
- Create awareness and educate customers through public health initiatives and clinics
- Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests/issues
- Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
- Provide ongoing training for new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license are mandatory
- Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism are essential
- Excellent leadership and performance management skills are required
- Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
- Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems, are a definite asset
