Job Title: Industrial DesignerWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to join our team. As an Industrial Designer at TuxMat Inc., you will collaborate with our Development Team to design and develop new products, focusing on automotive accessories.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop new features, designs, and patterns in 2D and 3D.
- Conduct research and stay current on current trends, consumer preferences, and design innovations.
- Create graphic documentation, presentations, and other aids to support products.
- Sketch concepts and formulate ideas.
- Apply design thinking in developing new products.
- Prepare product drawings for overseas vendors to develop and sample.
- Review product prototype samples for fit, form, and function.
- Produce detailed, final CAD drawings and specifications for approval.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings.
- 1-5 years of Product/Industrial Design-related experience, mechanical design/engineering is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with expert skills in Illustrator & Photoshop.
- Proficient with 3D Modeling in SolidWorks; 3D Scanning experience is an asset.
- Strong interest in cars or consumer-related products is an asset.
- Keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and new challenges.
