Job Description

We're seeking an Industrial Designer to join our ambitious team. As an Industrial Designer at TuxMat, you'll collaborate closely with designers and our Development Team to contribute to various projects, including Product Design, Technical Drawings, Product Testing, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new features, designs, and patterns in 2D and 3D
  • Conduct research and stay current on current trends, consumer preferences, and design innovations
  • Apply design thinking in developing new products
  • Prepare product drawings for overseas vendors to develop and sample
  • Produce detailed, final CAD drawings and specifications for approval
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of Product/Industrial Design-related experience, mechanical design/engineering is a plus
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with expert skills in Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Proficient with 3D Modeling in SolidWorks; 3D Scanning experience is an asset
  • Strong interest in cars or consumer-related products is an asset
