Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical tasks related to clinical laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Record and report test results
  • Assist with quality control and quality assurance activities
Requirements:
  • Secondary school diploma
  • Two years of relevant experience or equivalent skill
  • Manual dexterity, good vision and hearing, acuity, attention to detail
  • Capability to adapt to a constantly evolving technology
  • Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, organizational and decision-making skills
  • Fluent in English; fluency in Cree or French is an asset
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment and will be required to work independently and as part of a team.
