We are in search of a proactive Project Manager/Account Manager. This position primarily emphasizes project management, accounting for 80% of the role's responsibilities. Key tasks include overseeing project execution, managing timelines, and ensuring client satisfaction with the outcomes. The remaining 20% focuses on account management and business development, which entails identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and effectively conveying technical concepts to clients. The ideal candidate will possess robust project management expertise, sales acumen, and a genuine enthusiasm for both engineering and sales. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, managing all facets of client relationships.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong, enduring client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to outline project requirements, scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and uphold project timelines, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Track project progress and performance, proactively identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Recognize new business opportunities and collaborate with the sales team to create proposals and quotes.
  • Organize and lead Steering Committee meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and/or account management, ideally within the automotive, railway, or aerospace sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Candidates must be located in Canada.
