About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at 2192154 ONTARIO INC. as a Primary Care Physician. As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to our patients, from routine check-ups to complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough medical assessments, collect medical information from patients, and diagnose diseases and injuries.
  • Developing Treatment Plans: Help patients develop healthy habits, break old habits, and reshape their approach to wellness. Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures to determine the most appropriate medical treatment.
  • Prescribing and Administering Medications: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, and perform routine surgery as needed.
  • Coordinating Patient Care: Coordinate or manage primary patient care, provide acute care management, and supervise home care services.
  • Health Education and Counseling: Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
  • Emergency Care: Provide emergency care and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Security and Safety: Medical exam, tuberculosis test, and vulnerable sector check required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgment, organized, reliable, values and ethics.
