Position Overview

The Event Recruitment Specialist will be engaged to join the Admissions Team at Redeemer University College. This role involves training and support to effectively attract prospective students at vibrant Christian concert events throughout Canada. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel and wish to immerse themselves in dynamic Christian gatherings.

Benefits for Recruiters include:

  • $200 compensation per event along with training days
  • Redeemer University branded merchandise valued at approximately $100
  • Complimentary or exclusive access to events and opportunities as they arise
  • Per diem for meals during travel (subject to per diem policy) and coverage of all travel expenses


Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in a comprehensive training session
  • Attend approximately 8 concert events in the upcoming season; additional events may be available throughout the year
  • Set up and dismantle the Redeemer booth
  • Ensure the booth is staffed during pre-show, opening acts, and all intermissions
  • Engage with attendees one-on-one, addressing inquiries from prospective students and their families about Redeemer University
  • Receive training on admissions information and lead generation
  • Arrange travel logistics
  • Organize necessary materials from Redeemer University for each event

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree is advantageous
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience at Redeemer University


Additional Requirements
  • Familiarity with Redeemer University's mission, values, and Reformed Christian identity
  • Possession of valid travel identification and a driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds; capable of sedentary work and prolonged sitting
