We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Design division at Enersolv Design & Build Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in directing, monitoring, and reporting on all aspects of our design operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide workload forecasting and progress analysis for new and prospective projects.
- Recommend the distribution of new work based on staff availability and workload requirements.
- Develop and prepare Schematic Design and Design Development reports and drawings.
- Assign tasks to junior staff and review their work to ensure satisfactory completion.
- Represent Enersolv at meetings with project clients and stakeholders as required.
- Ensure adequate field review services are provided to ensure adherence to contract documents.
- Implement programs to improve the quality of our services, products, and systems to meet client requirements and expectations.
- Train staff in all phases of the design process to ensure continuity of technical design operations.
- Manage small to medium projects with minimal supervision.
- Develop, establish, and administer procedures and systems for team management.
- Stay up-to-date on new developments in relevant codes and innovative design.
- Participate in seminars and professional associations, and attend relevant trade shows and events.
- Participate in the hiring process, make recommendations for promotion, and monitor and report on staff performance.
- Collaborate with the Construction Division on Design & Build projects.
- 5+ years of design experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection.
- 2+ years of project management experience in consulting engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer or eligible for registration.
- Relevant project management experience in consulting engineering.
- Superior interpersonal skills with clients and staff.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Projects.
