Position Overview:
Located in a dynamic environment, the Civil Engineer will collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Engineering, undertaking a variety of responsibilities focused on the assessment and development of technical deliverables for clients engaged in Land Development and Linear Infrastructure initiatives. You will be an integral part of a team that delivers solutions across various engineering domains, including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage, and Stormwater Management.

Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the TULLOCH Engineering team, your duties will include:
  • Engaging in a fast-paced and stimulating environment alongside our Planning and Engineering teams on diverse Land Development and Linear Infrastructure projects.
  • Ensuring the successful execution of Civil Engineering projects, encompassing Lot Grading Plans, Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) Developments, Site Plan Control Applications, and Residential Subdivisions.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including Stormwater Management Designs & Reports and Functional Servicing Studies.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering team to create and assess detailed engineering drawings.
  • Utilizing technical modeling software such as Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS.
  • Conducting on-site technical reviews and providing general review certification as necessary.
  • Preparing and evaluating project cost estimates and bid documentation, as well as performing bid assessments.
  • Coordinating project requirements with the Project Manager, Discipline Manager, clients, regulatory bodies, vendors, and subcontractors.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a Civil Engineering capacity.
  • A valid P.Eng. license (via PEO).
  • Extensive knowledge in Stormwater Management, Site Servicing, and Water Resources Engineering.
  • Experience with the Municipal Class EA Planning process.
  • A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and technical modeling software.
  • The ability to exercise independent judgment within defined parameters aligned with business objectives.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
