Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

BC LTD is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Manage records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate reports and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure effective time management, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food service management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with high volume of customers.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
  • Standing for extended periods, with regular breaks to maintain physical well-being.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts and weekends.
