Key Responsibilities- Pre-construction: Prepare detailed layouts and plans in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- On-site work: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
- Project management: Coordinate and schedule work on-site, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Quality control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Team leadership: Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintenance and repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial buildings.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work hours: 40 hours per week.
