Landscape Labourer Job Description

Cangroup Landscaping Inc. is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our landscaping crew, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, tying and securing plants, and performing various tasks related to lawn care and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Tie and secure plants, ensuring they are properly anchored and secure.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a healthy and visually appealing landscape.
  • Cut grass and perform other lawn care tasks as needed.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to support landscaping projects.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools.
  • Perform tree removal and other tasks as required.
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be required to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and perform other tasks that demand physical stamina.

Requirements:
  • Experience in landscaping or a related field is an asset.
  • Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and working at heights.
