Job Overview
Position Summary
We are in search of skilled Wildlife Biologists to contribute to our projects. This is a full-time, permanent role focused on ecological assessments, inventories, and restoration efforts. Responsibilities include conducting forest inventories, ecological site evaluations, wildlife surveys, and assessments of roadway and stream crossings. The work environment is remote, collaborative, and safety-oriented, serving the energy and forestry sectors across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe and efficient execution of project tasks;
  • Oversee project deliverables and foster collaborative relationships with colleagues, management, and clients;
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies and best practices;
  • Support the Operations Manager in scheduling and managing project timelines.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in wildlife surveys, wetland evaluations, watercourse assessments, fish identification, habitat classification, plant identification, soil analysis, ecological restoration, and field data collection;
  • Experience in remote field operations and familiarity with heavy machinery is advantageous;
  • A University Degree or technical diploma in Environmental Science, Earth Science, Forestry, Biology, or Engineering is required;
  • Professional registration or eligibility with one of Alberta's Professional Regulatory Organizations is preferred;
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities;
  • Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record;
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and customer service excellence.
