Job Summary:

The Après Restaurant Server is a key member of our team at Westwood Plateau, providing exceptional service to our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, anticipating guests' needs, and ensuring seamless service throughout their dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Anticipate and respond to guests' needs, even before they are aware of them.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our menu, including cocktails, wine, and draft beer, to make informed recommendations to guests.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit card payments.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and other equipment.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance service skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Serving It Right certification is mandatory.
  • Food Safe certification is an asset.
  • Previous restaurant experience is not necessary but is an asset.
