Job Summary:

Senior Animators at Industrial Light & Magic create high-quality motion graphics and computer-generated animation for film and television productions. This role requires expertise in animation software programs, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement animation strategies to achieve high-quality results
  • Collaborate with animation supervisors and lead animators to ensure project goals are met
  • Supervise and mentor junior animators to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on animation techniques and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in animation software and technology
  • Perform other tasks related to the creation of computer-generated animation

Requirements:

  • At least five years of relevant professional experience in animation and visual effects
  • Expert knowledge of animation software programs, including Maya and proprietary software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Linux and knowledge of chaining and constraint techniques
