About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at GTA Skilled Trades. As a Millwright Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions and industry standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections and tests to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and supervisors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance and reduce costs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and repair
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
