Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process Sales Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Merchandise and Display Products: Wrap or place merchandise in bags, and ensure that products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Verify Age Requirements: Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency in a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
