As a Commercial Underwriter, your primary responsibility will be to issue title insurance policies for commercial real estate transactions. You will evaluate transactional documents, resolve customer issues, underwrite any defects, and issue the necessary policies. A solid understanding of real estate law and transaction processes is crucial for this role.

Your Contributions:
  • Process title insurance requests through multiple channels
  • Examine pertinent documents, including title reports and surveys
  • Underwrite and draft title insurance policies
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding policy details and procedures
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and cultivate strong relationships
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a real estate law clerk
  • Strong focus on customer service with excellent communication abilities
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preference for candidates with Law Clerk designation
  • Experience in title insurance is advantageous
