About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Security Architect to join our team at ALLTECH CONSULTING SVC INC. As a key member of our Data Security team, you will play a critical role in setting the vision and strategy for the protection of sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Data Security Policies: Define firmwide policy and procedure for the protection of data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Guidance and Support: Write detailed technical guidance for engineers to assist them in implementing adequate data protection controls, ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Conduct analysis of systems, identify data security-related risks and gaps, and recommend solutions to mitigate risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Consult with internal stakeholders to help them find solutions to data protection challenges, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Risk Characterization: Characterize risks arising from gaps in data security controls, providing actionable insights to inform risk-based decision-making.
Required Skills
  • Data Security Tools and Processes: Strong knowledge of data security tools, processes, and procedures, to include access controls, encryption, data loss prevention, data masking, and tokenization.
  • Information Security and Risk Analysis: Knowledge of information security and risk analysis, including threat and vulnerability management.
  • Systems Architecture and Engineering: Demonstrated background in systems architecture, design, and engineering, with a focus on data security and risk management.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data security issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Education and Certifications: Degree in a relevant computing or software development discipline, with relevant certifications and experience in data security and risk management.
Desired Skills
  • Cryptographic Techniques and PKI: Experience with cryptographic techniques, public key infrastructure (PKI), certificate lifecycle management, hardware security modules (HSMs).
  • Public Cloud Security: Knowledge of public cloud security product offerings, particularly data protection offerings.
  • Authentication Technologies: Knowledge of authentication technologies such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML 2.0.
  • Container and Orchestration Technologies: Knowledge of Docker and/or other container technologies, as well as Kubernetes and/or other similar workload orchestration technologies.
  • Secure Coding Practices: Knowledge of secure coding practices and software development lifecycle processes.
