About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Childcare Professional to join our team at SEA STAR EDUCATION LTD. as an Infant Care Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding Infants and Toddlers: Provide exceptional care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Developing and Implementing Child-Care Programs: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leading Activities and Interactions: Lead activities that stimulate children's senses, such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for parents and guardians.
  • Guiding Children's Development: Support children in developing essential life skills, such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observing and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and identify potential learning or behavioral issues, preparing reports for parents and guardians.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure seamless care and support for children.
  • Environment and Safety: Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's well-being.
Requirements and Certifications
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate: Possess a valid ECE Certificate to demonstrate expertise in early childhood education.
  • First Aid Certificate: Hold a current First Aid Certificate to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Work Environment and Details
  • Target Audience: Infant care specialists will work primarily with infants aged 3 months to 11 months.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check will be required for this position.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Hours: The work schedule will be approximately 30 to 40 hours per week.
