Job Summary

SEA STAR EDUCATION LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Childcare Professional to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Baby Care and Development
    • Provide top-notch care for infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
    • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance
    • Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
    • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records.
  • Health and Safety
    • Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
    • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
    • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children.
  • Environment and Security
    • Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
    • Criminal record check required.
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English
