Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various routes. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and safety of cargo.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, oversee vehicle condition, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, provide excellent oral and written communication, and demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in truck driving is an asset.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, overtime required, repetitive tasks, sitting, and excellent interpersonal skills.
