About the Role

RSM, a leading global audit, tax, and consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team in Laval, France. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients, ensuring their financial statements are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit teams to deliver high-quality audit services to clients;
  • Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessments and testing procedures;
  • Conduct audits of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
  • Identify and report on audit findings, including material weaknesses and control deficiencies;
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve audit issues and implement corrective actions;
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure compliance;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including senior management and audit committees;
  • Participate in business development activities to identify new business opportunities;
  • Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and procedures;
  • Supervise and mentor junior auditors to ensure their professional development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in auditing, preferably with a Big Four firm;
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, including IFRS and US GAAP;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead audit teams;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in French a plus;
  • Ability to travel occasionally to client sites.
