Job Title: Millwright/Industrial Mechanic

AGS Automotive Systems is a leading manufacturer of complex automotive metal components, specializing in front and rear impact assemblies for the heavy truck market.

We are seeking a skilled Millwright/Industrial Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including welders, weld fixtures, and other machinery
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment, including lubrication systems and hydraulic/pneumatic systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to perform installations and repairs
  • Work with a team to dismantle, match mark, and identify component parts for moving or shipping
  • Perform welding and brazing functions, including using acetylene equipment and cal rod elements
  • Capable of performing tasks with minimal supervisory assistance and guiding apprentices and helpers
Requirements:
  • Valid Ontario License Certificate of Qualification or equivalent experience
  • Certified Lift Truck Driver
  • Health and Safety related training
