Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Asset Manager to join our team at Employment and Social Development Canada. As a Senior Asset Manager, you will be responsible for managing the acquisition, disposal, and maintenance of real property assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement and disposal of real property assets, including buildings, land, and infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the management of real property assets, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Oversee the administration of contracts and agreements related to real property assets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize real property asset management needs.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the management of real property assets.
Requirements
  • Graduation with a degree, certificate, or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution in a discipline relevant to the duties of the position.
  • Experience providing facility accommodation and/or real property management services, including managing projects to acquire, dispose, build, lease, or renovate real property.
  • Experience in managing contracts and administering the delivery of services.
  • Experience with development and execution of program strategies.
  • Experience in managing financial resources through activities such as costing, forecasting, monitoring, and/or reporting on variances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in reviewing construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience managing human resources through coaching/training, performance management, and/or human resource planning.
  • Experience in successful negotiations in real property management services, such as leasing, contracts, or issues management.
Security Clearance

Possession of and ability to maintain a valid driver's licence.
