About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that high-quality meals are served to our customers.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide on-the-job training tailored to their needs.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, and establish work schedules to meet the needs of the restaurant.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in the food service industry
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
