Job Title

Field Service Supervisor, Completions Specialist

Job Summary

The Field Service Supervisor, Completions Specialist is a critical role within NCS Multistage Inc.'s Operations team. This position is responsible for supporting and mentoring the team by acting as a front-line field support specialist. The successful candidate will be required to plan and execute high-profile operations, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and maintaining the highest level of job quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the proper configuration of downhole tools for intended jobs and well designs, and guarantee that operational specifications are not exceeded.
  • Tool Management: Ensure downhole tools and equipment are configured correctly for intended jobs, and maintain a high level of professionalism in the management of NCS tools and equipment.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise between cement services and energy companies to ensure job success, and provide front-line support to customers with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate and work with customers, rigs, cementers, and other third-party personnel to ensure seamless execution of operations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Accurately complete job reports, create tool assembly schematics, and field service orders in a timely manner.
  • Quality Assurance: Report any non-conformance in a timely manner, and convey information and job details to co-workers at the end of each shift.
  • Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment for each specific job, and maintain a high level of professionalism in the management of NCS tools and equipment.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Support and uphold HSE policies and procedures of NCS and the customer, and promote safe work practices and higher standards of performance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; technical certificate/diploma or degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience on drilling rigs and/or tool experience; industry-related experience in coiled tubing, fracturing, drilling/service, or downhole tool operations.
  • Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites, effective communication, self-motivation, excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to understand the importance of documentation, excellent judgment, ability to plan ahead, high level of efficiency and work ethic, ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, manage priorities, ability to handle stressful situations, ability to perform job responsibilities in all weather conditions, perform physical labor when necessary, and stand or travel for long periods of time.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Valid Driver's license required.
